Pickup & Delivery Information

WE HAVE BOTH DELIVERY OPTIONS AND PICKUP OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR SOD ORDERS, SEED ORDERS ARE PICK ONLY UNLESS SOD IS BEING DELIVERED AT THE SAME TIME

  • All orders must be placed by 3:00pm for next day pickup or possible delivery
  • All Sod orders are final after 24 hours before delivery or pickup
  • Sod has a 24 hour pallet life.
  • We are not responsible for sod left on pallets after 24 hours. Effects of this will be yellow grass, oil like stains, heat, smell and or brown grass.
PICKUP INFORMATION:

  • Pickup hours are 8am-10am, strictly enforced unless appointment has been made at time of ordering.

  • Full Pallets weigh 2500lbs. A ½ ton pickup will carry ¾ of a pallet, a ¾ ton or 1 ton will carry full pallets.

  • Please Bring necessary load securements, trailer and other equipment to safely transport your sod order.

  • If using a trailer, it must be 5ft wide to fit sod pallets, carry 2500lbs and be easy to load from the rear or sides. Trailers must not have rear ramp or be able to remove ramp to load sod into trailer.

  • A full pallet will not fit in a pickup bed with a canopy.

  • We are not responsible for damages during loading, customer must be present during loading and direct the operator while loading.

  • All orders will be charged before pickup, if sod is not picked up, no refund will be given.

DELIVERY INFORMATION:

  • Deliveries are available in the Vancouver to Castle Rock areas

  • Deliveries are first come first serve, usually within 1-3 days

  • Delivery address must be accessible by our trucks.

  • Unloading site must be big enough to unload with forklift

  • Unloading site must not be on steep inclines, tight maneuvering, busy highways, blind corners, lower overhead trees and or utilities or other obstructions that delay delivery.

  • If delivery has time consuming obstacle’s, a flat fee of $100 per hour will be added to the delivery cost, at a 1 hour minimum. This decision will be made by the driver

  • Homeowner or contractor must be present at delivery or give instructions ahead of time of sod placement

  • All deliveries are not guaranteed if the site has obstacles that our drivers do not feel comfortable with

  • All deliveries are curbside delivery. We will try our best to get the sod as close to the project as possible

  • Our forklift is 9ft wide, 9 ft tall and weighs 5000lbs, make sure your gates or other openings are big enough and the soil is stable. Our forklift will make ruts as it is very heavy, if not we will set the pallets as close as we can

  • We are not responsible for damage done to yards, concrete, underground untilitys, overhead utilities, landscaping, structures or any other items during a delivery.

  • Our Delivery window is between 7am to 12am daily. We will give an estimated time as some delivery’s take longer than others.

  • Our trucks can carry either 10 pallets (4800sqft) or 20 pallets (9600 sqft) per trip

  • Deliveries are charged per delivery truck unless otherwise stated,All delivery’s start at $125 flat fee for any delivery from 1-10 pallets.
